3 Activities to Teach Your Child To Just Be...
January Collection of Activities:
I remember reading once that January is the month of depression and sadness. With all those stressful triggers of Christmas, financial strains, and tensions between families or broken relationships, we can begin the year feeling really burnt. Some of us might begin the new year with high hopes of change and empowerment only to find it slowly deflates. and we lose it. To be honest I can see why it's called that. I know I'm still recovering in many ways, not just from moving internationally, so I need to make time to reflect. I've been reflecting on Just Being - being still, present, not rushing ahead o escape, nor wallowing in the past. Being myself, in a world of comparison. Being kind, in a world of self-interest and judgement.
So I've been claiming January as a resting and recovering month.
My hope for January, is that we remember to be.
We face our feelings, we face our future.
And we take time to stop and reflect.
